The Sword of Truth

This was inspired by a recent Secret Sun post.

What got me into the ancient Mysteries and Esotericism and so on, was an insatiable hunger to know, to think, to put the pieces together, to understand. This is what got me started into all this and I assume the same applies to all of you.

All this ancient traditions are like a science of how to connect to this Spiritual Source within. It's a mind program that allows the "sacred marriage" to occur (mind and heart), Gnosis, awakening etc. It's a mind program that provides freedom from the false mind program, or the "Distortion" as Neil Kramer puts it.

These bands Christopher Knowles mentioned tapped into that source and expressed it through their music in a pure and unconditioned way. And maybe in a naive way too because they really didn't know what they were doing. They were just following their hearts, their indignation (anger), and it worked. In this way the spiritual power through music works it's magic and may inspire others to follow a path of non-conformity which is great.

Music is an excellent vehicle for the Source to express itself. And music is FUN to hear, and to make. It's a kind of Universal Language that we can use to express feelings (heart language). True talent comes from one who is connected to that Power.

One who is not can only imitate, copy, and use the ignorant (divorced from heart) mind. The mind cannot really understand this heart language by itself alone. That's why the music industry coming from the System / Empire, record labels, etc is soulless, lifeless, sterile. It's made-up of wannabes who want to get rich. They're not really doing inner work, not pure, there is no sacred purpose in what they do, so they will remain disconnected, and the masses blindly tap into that shit. It's sad.

Esotericism, because it requires the individual to focus, to think, to dive deep within, to really go through the abyss, is not so inspiring as music is, not so fun (except for those obsessive minds who like to connect dots like us).

How can Esotericism be presented in such a way as to be accessible, to encourage people to really think for themselves, connect the dots, and yet to maintain it's purity, to not become distorted, as maybe the New Age became? I can't see how it can happen. Maybe it's supposed to be like this because only the stronger minds can walk this road, and understand the true meaning of Esotericism. That's why it is supposed to remain secret.

But Esotericism is maybe more accessible today than ever before. And although it's still something that most people frown upon, maybe there never was so much people interested in this secret knowledge than today.

I also think that Esotericism is not the only path to connect to Source. There are other valid paths: oriental traditions like yoga, meditation etc. There are entheogens that in my view are also very helpful despite some people thinking the opposite. And many others (or combinations of all these). The only problem is the distortion that can always lead the aspirant disciple offtrack. But it's supposed to be like that. It's supposed to be dangerous and uncertain. It wouldn't be fun if there were no enemies, dangers, etc.

Esotericism is like an advanced course. I see it as a coding language. Esotericists are like coders, programmers, that use it to understand this reality (inner/outer) and to act/create upon it. There are Esotericists working for the System. And there are FREE coders trying to dismantle the system and create anew.

Maybe today is a good day for me, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, I feel good. Maybe there is still hope for us, we just got to keep doing what we can, or better, what we like to do and not caring for consequences! Because what we like to do is what the Heart/Source likes and that has tremendous POWER. That is us "wielding swords of truth and laughing without fear".
